GCRC MAS-X-DRIFT Part 2
Who likes a bit of battle action?
Winners of the Twin Drift Battle... these two grabbed the crowd attention. CS Kazama chassis action.
New partner... doesn't matter, just get on the door and stay there. 2md place getters. RWD Overdose DP and Driftline chassis.
Twin Silvias crating a great style.
This is proximity!
3rd went to these two...
Regular partners with MST and Hikoitec
A very close 4th place voted by the audience went to this pair. I definitely rated these high.
JXRs on the money.
Speaking of JXRs... These two guys are always like this. Always great battles. But once you make a small mistake in Twin Drift. It's hard to recover.
I should know... I think I spun my RWD 4 times in one lap. haha.
But there were glimpses of proximity.
Allowing that one great shot... that's all I need.
For me... I couldn't get the flow up close.
More silvia twins
EX GCRC owners car. also featured high in the Body Contest.
Big angle entries.
It's good to see new entrants not afraid to rip into the hobby.
Great to see these guys on track.
Slide time... the pretty machines. on track.
Super Real Parts Stance body comp finalist doesn't mind a bot of action either.
Both drivers riding on the wall, just a little distance apart.
506 drift team. Hooking in.
And out to the edge.
These guys were doing great right up until this point. But the crowd loved it.
Cool looking Supra doing all the right things.
More new drivers taking to the track.
Won't be long until these guys are getting it close.
Thanks to all the drivers and we hoped you enjoyed the MAS-X-DRIFT Comp.
GCRC MAS-X-DRIFT Part 1
Xmas time... @ GCRC brings the winner of the Xmas Decoration Body Comp!
Presents on the sled. Navi in place.
Xmas Lights on!
This is MAS - X - DRIFT!
Stance body content saw a mix of machines. 2nd place went to this RX3. Super low and simple. Sometimes that is all you need.
Super Real Parts provided the RC Door Handles and accessory prizes for the event winners.
But soon it was practice time.
Getting ready for tandem Twin Drift battles.
There was some tight action from the blue clues.
Lights on. It is Xmas after all.
ps... if anyone has Static Shots from the body comps let me know.
R32 Low Style Team Project - ".RSG."
Well, my beast is just about done. With the exception of only minor details.
Introducing. RE-Xtreme R32 Low Style Team Project - ".RSG."
Even though theres a whole bunch of cool in these shells we've been building recently. They're actually pretty plain.
No overfenders or 1800 parts to attach. Just your basic body and intercooler. The wing was about the most time consuming thing to make.
With 6 cars on the build at the same time. It's easy to spread the workload.
I'm happy with the result. These machines were built to be driven in tandems or trains of 6 cars. so there will definitely be some panel rubbing the first time they are on track.
So I haven't really bothered making everything perfect. It's the overall image I'm chasing.
LOW STYLE influence from A~BO~MOON in Japan. With our own colours and style. I have Hachi Roku rear tail lights in the front of mine.Projector beams will be attached soon.
Track debut tuning ... soon...
R32 Low Style Team Project -Update... Design to reality
Starting with a design always helps a project.
Then having the determination to stick to the plan is also important.
That way, you know what you will end up with.
This machine is destined for the almost complete DRB-REW production version.
So I made sure the JDm influence was there.
Installed currently on the Drift Package. front wheel Angle is no issue. I'll need to install some brake disks.
and then head out for some slide... Rear length is accentuated by wing and pipes, so I will be learning to judge the new distances. Following cars... please respect the length or be chopped by pipes!!!
have fun.
