GCRC Xmas Party Preparations

A fun event to end the year. Currently preparing an event for Santa.

Pencil in a tentative date of the Evening of the 22nd December 2015. I WILL CONFIRM ASAP.

Event 1. Xmas Card Fantasy Showoff.

Break out your old cards and Xmas paper. We want a Xmas Wrap on any old body. I'm just starting on my Gemini. But the plan is for Red White Green Xmas paper wrap.

Take you time and fold your card board and cut, you can make things fit.

Rough is fine... Who will have the most outrageous body? or the coolest?

Event 2. Xmas Stance Fest We want to see LOW DOWN stance. GCRC allows for a lot of scrape so get those bodies on the deck.

Red White and Green elibile ONLY for this Xmas Event.

Event 3. Twin Drift. Regular Short Twin Drift Sessions.

Fun times a coming.

Seven's Day @ GCRC: Part #4 The FUN.

A little warning... This photo set ROCKS! Three....

TWO...

ONE...  ROCK ON!

Skulls and lace style bonnet on the slide.

70's vs 80's

Pan Speed on FIRE!

Copper beast!

SCION... maybe not. but cool none the less.

Running the wall means sometimes, someone is up the inside...

But when three in row is lap after lap... smiles are common.

Mixing it up.

RWD Switch backs. sooooooo close.

SA22c... deep in Aussie history.

 FD3 Yess,

The bumper is gone for a reason... Run the wall!

Lurverly paint.

Very pretty.

Did you say tight? Tight and on lock.

Yes, I said TIGHT and ON LOCK

ON LOCK.

LOCK ON!.

Tandem practice coming.

Running up to the pack...

LEAN ON ME!!!

LEAN on the RWD... It's good fun... We all try to get a full lap on the door of this hachi... RWB hachi driver runs a line and speed that just begs for constant door scraping.

Lemon slice!

Seven's Day @ GCRC Gold Coast RC Raceway... Absolutely Awesome!

Seven's Day @ GCRC - Part # 2 The Show Winners

GCRC brings out the bling.

Double Down! Popular Vote and the SPL #1 GCRC trophy.

With so many, it was again a difficult selection.

Tamiya FD3s RX7 + Demi Works Rocket Bunny Aero and small details.

I decided to showcase the RX-7s on the RE-Xtreme podium.

Another addition to GCRC's diorama corner.

With so many screws, it's hard to keep the lexan smooth. But this body looked great sitting in the sun definitely one that looks aggressive in person.

This machine took out the 2nd place in the Popular Vote.

Simple and Clean.

The BN Sports FC3s is a striking image.

Mufflers look like pen caps.

But add a great finishing tough.

My little chubby SA took out 3rd place in a very evenly spread voting field.

A very small margin taking the 3rd place cup.

It's definitely unique.

Being RE-Xtreme, I dedicated 2 awards to this battle showdown. My theme for selection was clean lines and small details.

Yokomo street version FC3s has just that. Combine it with a meaty cage and a few flashing lights...

And you get a clean beautiful machine.

BRAP BRAP BRAP indeed winning the FC3s Award.

For the FD3s Award the same criteria applied.

Clean Tamiya lines and small details.

Nicely detailed interior and that curvaceous shape. Some might say, simply perfect.
