V1 v V2 @ GCRC

Version 1 or Version 2 Rockets ready for action.  Video Take 1

215mm wide rear end needs +14. Custom MST rims are good for this task.

Lemon twang or pumpkin soup. What is your flavour.

Full height V2 uses the normal height of the body.

Custom 86 cut low for mad stance.

RE-Xtreme RWD style. Plastic Drift Package under beginner control still effective.

Targetting.

A video to come of some of the closest drifting I have done in a long long time.

Big Speed Street Machines also battling.

Weight Shift DP vs Bianca

Low stance for drift style.

Get some bunny fever. I wonder when we will see Rocket Bunny JZX kit?

GCRC Battle Games

Rainy Saturday... No problem. Light em up!

These are full evolution Drift Package Conversion Chassis. Hikotech Bianca under the black beast and Custom Drift Master under the White beast.

Bodies are Tamiya FD3s RX7 + Demi Works Aero + P!PES / Rare Labs Cut Vinyl stickers and masks

The double wing on the FD makes a huge difference to handling.

Diffuser... not so much so. The Stance on my FD3s is somewhat LOW!

This V8 Supercar vs FD3s battle was awesome as we tried some new courses in this CS vs RWD battle..

C. Lownes = "Clownsey"

Red Bull + Camera HOG

As if these awesome tandems weren't enough.

JXR Twins.

Just one Inch. not inches.

CS Style.

DIB 275 + Mark X... Stylish.

A fantastic session!

RB-6666-7

RE-Birth of the FD3s is subtle but somehow more menacing.

Previously, the front splitter and rear wing extensions were black. Combining the white image has created a clean skin and even more subtle but supercar style.

The only black on the car now is on the mirrors and velcro mounted rear diffuser. ducktail can be removed depending on track downforce requirements.

The double wing is working very well.

The RB kit from demi works is incorrect in scale terms, with the front fenders scaled bigger and the rear fenders scaled smaller.

The front bupler is also basic in it's replication of reality, but the overall effect is what we see here. Adding the body coloured splitter has totally changed the look, from  blunt to sharp

definitely liking the overall outcome.

RE-Finishing the Rocket Bunny.

Finally... Getting around to finishing the Rocket Bunny FD3s "Glam Spec" Drifter

I've refinished the front splitter in matching colour and the rear wing has also been matched white.

Let me tell you about this machine!

It's a quad-rotor twin turbo 1100hp, matching aero, fresh paint with silver and gold highlights. One of a kind.

How Much? Sorry it's not for sale.

Already battle worn. The headlights take the brunt of most collisions, so I have had to repair a few minor things and add some finishing touches. Cage to go in then it's more glam spec drifting.

Halloween Jokers

High Speed, High intensity.. no... just Fun.

It's been almost 4 years since I built this FC3s https://vimeo.com/40145729 but it felt like just yesterday.

Borrowing a set of driver's hands for the shoot. I'm glad I still have this body.

But underneath... that's a different story.

Because the RWD machines have taken hold. This is my Drift Package Drift Master.

Lined up beside a body I sold a while back, It was awesome to have a FC vs FD battle. Flat out D1 Style.

FXX-D S Still pumping out lap after lap.

Pandora + HPI + ABC + Yokomo + Custom merged body.

Many hours in paint and mask went into the Yokomo Street Spec FC.

May thy battle be close and fun.

P!PES Battle Twins and Triplets.

Two bodies built on opposite sides of the world with a common goal.  Maximum impact!

By now you've seen the white machine in detail, so let's look at the evil twin.

The story goes like this. A trade of sorts. My 86 for this FD. But rather than run it myself...

It needed to go to another person so I could battle Black Vs White. It's home is now this RWD Bianca.

The gold and black Hikotech Bianca is finished with black Overdose / RC926 and other quality items. So a quality bodyshell completes the effect.

There's now about 5 Rocket Bunny FD3s RX-7s at GCRC. All slightly different but they have come from the USA, The Netherlands and of course all originating in Japan.

On track they all look insane.

The 3 parked up here create quite the contrast.

Ready... Set... Let's .............. GO!

Hammer down!

Bianca on the rocket bunny money!

A small lip extension added up front light kit added for 24 Hour fun.

The white beast also striking an awesome image.

You would have seen the Blue/black fade on this FD3s. Underneath is a D-Like Hybrid running strong. My Custom DRB is under attack here.

A bit of swap and chop as we played around... (spacing is large to preserve the bodies for a few runs at least)

Sliding in tune.

 Doing the triple bunny dance.

With so many RX7s around... It was certainly a fun night.
