GCRC FRIDAY SESSION = FRYDYSSH

GCRC = Gold Coast RC Raceway.

Time to test a few more RWD setups. But i get distracted by awesome battles.

This time I lowered the GRK Slide rack on the DRB-REW, but I am still waiting on some front stub axles so I can install some GX knuckles to get the maximum lock that I want. It meant that setting was driving was limiting the ability to set a constant line and not having that "spin preventing" safety margin in ultimate maximum lock past 65 degrees.

But I had some good laps with the "White Team"

These two were awesome in door to door bashing.

Hunting down targets

And sliding through nicely.

Fun to watch

CS machines Cranking it out, I joined in later with my RWD.

Anyone for Pink? Unfortunately not an S15 aka "ichi-go"

Or perhaps a little German Auto

Enter the Drift Package "Drift Master Weight Shift"

Setup is awesome these days. Huge angle, Huge Style.

Admittedly, still a few degrees shy of the long constant angle CS3.5+ machines, going to a matching max angle means dropping outright speed. But the angle is definitely surpassing a CS 2.0ish machine for style and angle.

Getting machines like this to work on super polished concrete is a massive challenge. But we are all finding that our previous limits and getting higher.

Known working combinations are appearing for some fun times.

GCRC mid Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Time for a real Battle! Ninja Style!

GCRC Open Attack.

Door to Door.

On the Slide

Everywhere I looked were Red S15s

The GCRC Turtle Van attracts soooooooooooo much attention.

You end up battling with everyone.

Change of direction happens quickly.... within a spear or sword length is awesome!

It gives you something else to focus on.... Getting close has an added interest.

When I'm in chase mode, the guys rest their Feet on the door.

Lots of craziness.

Just about to chop into the sweeper. Challenger in tow.

Lucky I built it strong! the solid Drift package RF Concept base was a great choice. The balance in the chassis is very good. CS 3.4 gives lot's of angle.

Plastic tub chassis performs very well.

Regular battle style.

Slide on at GCRC

GCRC Raceway Weekly Middle

Battle Time is ON!

Get Close.... and lean on that door.

Stay on the power!.. Even around a spinner.

Rear Wheel Drive and CS on the run.

4AGE vs SR20 and more

Lean on the bumper!

S14 Hayabusa door to door with my Drift Master which is still very much a WIP.

I'm getting there.

Depending on tyre it was slow, fast or insanely too quick.

But there were some fun laps.

once I got some kind of setting.

I had major balance changes on my RWD from

1. Steering angle.
2. Steering binding
3. Tyre compound
4. Camber
5. Battery position
6. Shock setting
7. Ride height.

I changed a LOT tonight but it's still not quite there.

But it was a fun road to follow.

While I sat around, my camera disappeared for a while.

547 photographs later,

you are bound to find more than a few decent shots.

Quality content never far away at GCRC

So there's lots to capture.

Love the rear fenders on the D-Like S15.

waiting for the best opponent.

then pouncing.

punching through scenery

Slashing through the straights

Chasing down anyone and everyone.

Han Solo says... GO!

Chase the line.

Run the wall.

Targets are waiting.

They should bend out of the way.

WWF wrestlers make a good size match.

But back into the action.

New comers mixing it with the veterans.

Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed

and fight!

Chucking it in.

Don't forget SUNDAY is SEVEN's DAY at GCRC

Slippery when wet.... NO... Slippery ALL the time.

Thanks to those who battled and tuned, spun and slashed. Most enjoyable.

You might be seeing a lot more of the RWD drift master "Mono Stroker"

As I tune this chassis for battle.

Already good. but I'm targeting great.

 Until next time...

Keep it sideways.
